My focus as a writer is the human condition and how it may be improved through philosophy, ethics, character, critical thinking, parenting, and politics. I'm interested in encouraging personal growth, purpose and contentment for all. My flagship website since 2013 is Common Sense Ethics. My work has been published in Stoicism Today: Selected Writings Vol. 3. I've also contributed to Modern Stoicism and BrainFodder.

I hold Bachelor's degrees in History and Philosophy, and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. I have 15 years experience as a professional archivist and librarian, and eight years experience as a content creator and editor.
